Six Sentence Sunday - Fangs & Lullabies (Paranormal MM Romance)

Another participation to Six Sentence Sunday, a weekly blog event during which authors post 6 sentences, no more, no less, from one of their works, either published or yet to be published.

This week, for Father's Day, I am posting another glimpse from Fangs & Lullabies. Andrew never thought he would have a son, but he had nine months to get used to the idea. After five years, however, he still has trouble getting used to the idea there's someone else Jacob could call 'Dad'.

“I didn’t know people can have two dads,” Jacob said, his voice dropping to a whisper now.

“Does it change anything?” Andrew asked, even though he already knew the answer to that. Jacob wouldn’t have been so anxious if it hadn’t changed something for him.

Without warning, Jacob threw his arms around Andrew’s middle, hugging him tight. Andrew set the book on the night table and stroked Jacob’s back gently, waiting for him to say what was on his mind; it didn’t take much longer.

“Is Nicholas my dad, too?”
