Anonymous asked... When Virginia joined you in New York, you were chained up in something I kinda want to call a dungeon. I assume you sire chained you up but why? And why did you let her?
Why do I let Mary do anything? That one is easy. She can be a pain, and we butt heads and argue, but when it comes down to it she’s my Sire and I’ll never see her as anything else. As old as I am, I could be a Master in my own right and as such her equal, we both know it and that’s why she allows me to argue with her. She never tolerated me or her other Childer giving her lip when we were just fledglings. But in the end, even if I can say no to her, it’s usually easier to let her have her way.
As to why she chained me up that day… I can only guess, but I’m fairly certain she just wanted to be sure I’d be there when Virginia came in. I’d been talking of leaving town, leaving the country, and she couldn’t convince me to stay. So she did the next best thing in her book.
And I’m glad she did.
