Looking back at 2012; looking forward to 2013

Every year at this time I look back at what I've released in the past twelve months and how that meshes with what I had planned to do.

Let's see... This year, I released... 10 stories:

-> Losing His Wings
-> His Sire's New Pet
-> Blurred Memories
-> Before The Edge
-> Visions of Destiny - complete series
-> Demons & Lullabies
-> Forgotten Lullabies
-> The Thirteenth Halloween
-> Bodyguards
-> Under His Skin

I also re-released two stories as freebies: The Missing Star and First Vision of Destiny

 They break out as...
-> 4 M/F, 6 M/M, 1 M/M/M, 2 M/M/F
-> 8 Vampires, 1 Angel, 3 Magic
-> 4 novels, 3 novellas, 3 short stories
-> 2 BDSM
-> 4 Demons Age series, 1 On The Edge series

I also wrote 10 chapters of my monthly freebie. I think I'm probably halfway though with the story so I should finish it in 2013

There's a couple of things I had planned for this year that haven't come to pass. One is the Inked Souls series. I still plan to get to it at some point, but right now I'm full on in the QuickSilver Codex series. Another thing is that Beyond The Edge, which I hoped to release this year, turned out longer than I anticipated and it's now tentatively scheduled for March.

And of course I planned to finish the Baby steps podcast and... *sigh*. I'll finish it, that much I promise, but I'll admit I sort of lost interest in the podcast. The issue is, I don't think I have a good reading voice, and my pronunciation is sometimes shaky, so recording the chapters has become a chore. I have a handful of Baby Steps chapters left to record, and after that I'll be done with podcasting, I think.

Now looking forward to 2013... These are the stories I hope to release during the coming year:

-> His Sire's New Game, a sequel to His Sire's New Pet, and possibly another sequel
-> Beyond The Edge
-> a short story sequel to Carte Blanche in which Ray flips his card upside down
-> Quickening, the sequel to Bodyguards, as well as part 3
-> two or three short stories for a project I nicknamed 'Ward'
-> another 'magic at Chrismas' story, although at this point I have nothing definite
-> a story to match the picture of a tattooed couple in an elevator that I posted a few weeks ago

I also plan to start releasing YA stories this year, starting with a rewrite of my freebie from two years ago, Beneath the Twin Moons of Haldae. I still need to figure out what pen name to adopt for these!
