Naughty New Years Blog Hop

I'm kicking off 2013 with naughty thoughts!

I spent a couple of months in 2012 writing Beyond The Edge, my continuation to both the On The Edge series and the Out of the Box series. Two vampires and a human on one side, one vampire and a human on the other... Three men and two women... And one birthday party that changes all their lives...

I had a lot of fun being naughty with this one. The On The Edge trio is always playful, and Virginia and Anando opening their toy chest is always hot! The should be released in late March / early April, and I just can't wait!

But since I do have to wait... I've succumbed to the bite of a new plot bunny. I've posted the first few thousand words on Facebook and plan to take the story (stories?) into a fun, naughty, sexy direction, the way the Out of the Box series started. New adventures (and new lovers!) are always so exciting!

Know what else is exciting? A $100 gift card to EdenFantasys or a digital gift basket of 10 erotica books! Those are the grand prizes for the hop, and every comment on the participating blogs enters you for the giveaway. That means that by answering the question in my giveaway below, you're also entering the big prize giveaway!

Now my giveaway... I have 11 prizes for you! First prize will be winner's choice of either Out of the Box (complete series) or Living out of the Box in their favorite ebook format. Ten additional winners will get their choice of any Out of the Box short story #2 through #10. Why not #1, you ask? Well, it's already available for free!

Please note - make sure to answer this question for your comment to be an eligible entry: For erotica, do you prefer short stories that hit all the sweet spots fast or novels that take their time?

  30. I like both types of those that are short and those that are novels. A lot of times, it depends on how much time I have available. My problem is that once I get started, I don't want to put it down until the book is finished. This is why the novella is good when I only have a short amount of time to get my sexy fix on. When I can take my time and have a whole day to read, then I like to have those books that build the anticipation and then watch out.

    Happy New Year,

  31. I like them both but prefer novels as they are easier to review and i always feel like i can't do more than a sentence or two for a short. Shorts for quick reads as i can read about 3-4 before i go to bed for the night.

  33. I love both with novels you can take your time get to know the characters and can build excitement and suspense but with a short story you can hit the spot quickly and get right to the point but sometimes can finish to quick and leave you wanting more.

I think it depends, sometimes I like the novellas, maybe reading before going to bed, I can probably finish the story, but then sometimes I'm in the mood for longer stories.

I like both short and long, something short, steamy and hot are good but the build up in a long story is great as well as getting to know the characters better but depending on my mood will depend on what i want to read.
